APRIL YET?

Good news, the bone is showing signs of healing, but I need 6 more weeks of healing before they x-ray again and release me back to normal activity.  As long as I do not do tough climbs where I have to pull on the bars, I can ride on pavement.  I guess it is a good thing I got rid of the single speed....for now!

5k Resolution "BEER" Run

Ok this is now a new tradition.  24 degrees and gale force winds, but they had BEER!!!!

65 Degrees in December?

Went back to Wichita for the week inbetween Christmas and New Years.  50 degrees and cloudy on Tuesday.  Rain on Wednesday and 65 degrees and dusty trails on Thursday??? WTF!!!

Wolverine!

Ok, I went back to the doctor today (5 weeks after the accident) and he says I can go back to my normal activities.  No restrictions.  I must have healed like Wolverine in X-Men.  Now that sounds really positive, but considering turning the key in the ignition is a challenge at this point, I do not think that is saying much. 

I am going to go ride the Katy Trail and see how it goes and make some decisions on the next step from there.
